License Fee

Bright Software offers a very simple and flexible licensing model. A license needs to be purchased for each mobile device to be deployed in the field. This is a one–off perpetual license. This license fee covers all the products in BrightXpress Mobility Suite. For example, if you have 10 devices in the field, then you only need to purchase 10 device licenses which would cover all the products in the BrightXpress Mobility Suite including BrightBuilder Mobile Application Designer, BrightForms Mobile Device Engine and BrightServer Mobile Data Gateway.

Put it differently, each server is licensed by how many unique devices can connect to it. Device licenses must be purchased and installed to enable devices to operate and to connect to the server.

Annual Software Maintenance

Each device can be covered by an optional annual maintenance plan. This plan allows you to have access to software upgrades for a given 12 month period at no cost.

Developer Support

Developer support packages are available on an annual basis for nominated developers in your enterprise mobility development team. The Bright Software Support team provides the necessary help to speed up your learning and reduce application development further. This way you will be able to maximize your platform investment.

OEM Licensing

BrightXpress Mobility Suite is bundled and shipped by other ISVs (Independent Software Vendors). Bright Software offers a flexible licensing model and pricing to mobilize and extend existing software products to remote users in the field. This is a very cost effective way of providing mobile extensions and creating packaged off-the-shelf products for faster and cost effective go-to market.
